Response to an Democratic Supporter

Yes – against social security – it should be privatized. Yes public education should have a private competition available! I am not sure how i feel about medicaid, medicare – haven’t looked into this. We need to become a people who takes personal responsibility for their own interests instead of depending upon the government to do it for us.

Large government means the general public will get increasingly lazy about all these matters. These institutions came about as a patch – for something that was wrong at a time. These patches have turned into a crutch – which is part of the crippling factor of our economy today. I am part of this poorly educated bunch, learning from my mistakes and working toward a better future – the better future is not socialism! Socialism doesn’t pay a man his due for his hard work. It pays without ethic – it takes without asking – it is a regime unto itself. Socialism is a tyranny of associates who let the poor eat the scraps from their table in exchange for votes.

I am not socialist. I am capitalist. I believe in reward for hard work. I like the idea of trickle down economics and buy into the fact that it can work again if politicians get out of the way of a free market and let the free economy grow.

I believe that those at the top of corporations have risked the most and should make the most – however if they fail they should also be the ones to loose the most. Consequence for actions – reaping what the sow. This is not the case currently and there is corruption on wall street. This NOT caused by capitalism.

With risk there is reward – just as with hard work there is reward. We are sending the wrong message to the poor. If you don’t work – you don’t eat. I don’t intend this policy toward children – but in order to change the class of families it is not through welfare and public assistance programs.

At the top of my list is that of life. I have heard it said that no one likes abortion! If that were true why don’t the democrats retract that issue entirely. It totally violates our constitutional rights. Especially in the time we live with the understanding of science we know that the fetus is a human being which has life and to extinguish that life is the most in humane and ultimate violation of human rights!

“No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Give me a choice of political parties. Give me a party that sides correctly on that issue and I will start from there. I can’t even imagine supporting the democratic party for the fact that they look at life with such disregard. They have shown more regard for a tree or an animal than for the least and most vulnerable of all life forms on this planet.

Abortion is the pre-born’s holocaust. All for the sake of bringing convenience to an individual who has made bad personal choices and needs to be bailed out. What an atrocious bailout package. A life of one for the convienience of another. Where is the media coverage! Don’t even talk to me about the situations of incest and rape, because they are not the issue – they are not the standard – they are not the norm.

Once the democratic party takes a stand and “equal protection under the law”. I will be voting for the party that does.

Tax Rebate

Why do Democrats feel that a Tax Rebate is a time to give money to people who don’t pay taxes.  If they would just call it a gift to the poor (speak it as it is). I would feel much better for it.  But giving a Tax Rebate to individuals that don’t pay taxes is ethically wrong.  They are lying – twisting words.  Democrats are buying votes and the Republicans are letting them.  I also don’t feel that the cash we will be getting will do anything but help us pay some bills.  I wish they would give it all back.  Are you listening Governor Grandtheft?

Individuals who pay income taxes would get up to $600, working couples $1,200 and those couples with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement. Workers who make at least $3,000 but don’t pay taxes would get $300 rebates.

Just give it to them. Don’t call it a REBATE.

Why only one Democrat on the ballot?  Because the dems HATE Michigan!  No really, I heard, that because Gov. Grand Theft moved up the primary date – the other dems backed out of our primary.  Ok, let’s level set. (1) Big deal the date was moved up.  (2) Much more stupid move by the candidates to just drop out of Michigan.

Question Mormonism and You’re a Bigot?

Some good points made by Paul Edwards in regards to understanding and differentiating between Mormonism and Christianity.  Do we want to elect a man who believes in Mormonism?  Would you vote for Jim Jones (and drink his cool-aid) in light of his religious convictions and manner in which he makes decisions?  Are these questions relevant to understanding how our leaders think?

I am a regular listener to the Paul Edwards Show and he has endorsed Mike Huckabee a while back.  To be honest I have never heard of him before hearing him on the Paul Edwards program.  I am impressed.  He looks like a very honorable conservative politician.

Michigan Schools OKs Teaching Evolution in Science Class, Not Intelligent Design I found this article interesting and confirmed what I thought was alreadyhappening in Michigan schools. Now they can legally teach evolution inMichigan. And they are watering down science to make the evolution theoryscientific. This is or is going to be taught shortly as absolute.Amazing.
