Google supports the iPhone to some extent. 

What was very interesting that Google brought an iPhone application to the iPhone.  It appears that they bring Google Desktop search to the iPhone. Get more info here.

The  iphone 2.0 update you may get better battery life, better reception. 

I have also heard a lot of people disappointed with the long time it
takes for backup.  You can click the (x) do cancel backup when syncing.
